Dave Findlay leads Fuse Data, a Toronto-based consultancy that helps enterprises plan, design, and deliver impactful data, analytics, and AI solutions — all with a sharp focus on clarity, execution, and real-world outcomes.

With over 20 years of experience, Dave has built and led high-performing data teams across financial services, real estate, retail, and healthcare. He’s known for turning complex, high-stakes challenges into practical strategies and scalable, Snowflake-native solutions.

Before founding Fuse Data, Dave was a Partner at

Gensquared — the first Canadian Snowflake partner — where he led strategic engagements that moved clients from tech-first thinking to business-led delivery. His hands-on work with Snowflake helped enterprise clients modernize their data platforms, build production-grade analytics pipelines, and unlock measurable business value. Dave played a key role in the company’s record growth, which earned national recognition (The Globe and Mail’s Top Growing Companies 2021) and led to Gensquared’s acquisition by Ernst & Young in 2022.

Dave is passionate about unlocking potential — within teams, within clients, and within the systems they build together. He brings a people-first mindset to even the most technical initiatives, helping organizations create meaningful, lasting impact with data.

He also supports community initiatives like the First Capital Thriving Neighbourhood Foundation and other causes focused on equity and empowerment.

When he’s not architecting data programs or coaching leadership teams, you’ll likely find him refining his backyard pizza oven technique or logging long miles through the streets and trails of Clarington, where he lives with his family.
